I plan to produce a limited series of T-shirts. To find out how the different materials work together i tested different types of thermo transfer films. The tests were also helpful to determine the optimal temperature and pressure of the heat press.

Yesterday the book from Die Gestalten Verlag, called “tactile” finally arrived. The typecube is presentet on page 130.

recently i got an offer from the guys from Victionary, a publishing workshop based in Hong Kong, which focuses on visual communication. they want to publish something about the typecube in their next book about typography. how great is that!?
I’m very amazed, about the positive feedback regarding the cube. Martin J. Thörnkvist used the typecube font for an advert for the Swedish interview magazine SEX.
because of the great demand maybe I will produce a small number of cubes. I’ll tell you when they are available! stay tuned!
finally the digital version of the typecube font is available. you can download it here for free. it would be nice to inform me about the use of the font in your projects. i think the font is more interesting by using the cube as a writing tool. on the screen the font seems taken out of context, but maybe it works on some flyers. have fun!
here are some pictures from the exhibition at the UDK Berlin. the prototype of the typecube now looks a bit smudgy, but the visitors had lots of fun stamping with the cube. afterwards I should have taken a series of pictures of peoples dirty hands 
the next time I want to build a black cube. maybe with some kind of script… the digital version of the typecube-font will be ready to download soon.
